Worlds first automated restaurant

Nuremberg has a restaurant straight out of the Jetsons. The delivery of meals is fully automated, touch screen ordering. Cool.....but how does the food get sent back when it tastes like its made by a robot.....

Flight of the Conchords..

These guys are great. A coup-le of Kiwi lads with very funny songs. So funny in fact that Showtime has picked them up for a second season. You Tube has heaps of there clips.

In 10 years you can extend your lifespan......(well it works on rats).

Aussie biologist David Sinclair claims he has found the elixir of youth. Its the same stuff that is found in red wine. Unfortunally its doesn't say how many bottles a day I have to drink.

We might just be a computer game......

The NYK Times has a good article which asks are we real flesh and blood? It messes with your mind a bit and might ruin you day if you were lucky to work from home this afternoon.

Hummer Drivers Look Away!

Whilst this looks like a sunny afternoon near Wellington from some readers youth, Treehugger http://www.treehugger.com/ has this great story about Micro cars made in the 1950's.
Do we really need big cars or are they just penis extensions?
This one even tows the caravan ..... but look closely is that a blow up doll in the back of the car? Kinky eh bro?
Check out the link, there's BMW's and cars made by all the aircraft companies.
I guess if we all slowed down, adopted the 100 mile diet, we could solve a lot of the congestion issues in our cities today.
YOU DON'T NEED THAT HUMMER - sorry Emily, you sold your soul taking that job!

Great Sofa Bunk Bed

Giving new meaning to the term "sleeper sofa" is Doc, a couch that flips up to create a couple of bunk beds. The ingenious space saver uses a patented mechanism to transform a place to lounge into a place to sleep; though the bunk beds are a little Tom-Hanks-in-"Big", anytime you can cut create double function from a single piece, it's a good thing. Live small, host big and get primed for your next sleep over with more pics after the jump. ::Bonbon Trading via ::Freshome
